IN HOME PET VISITS /DOG WALKS
Ideally suited for our companions the canine & feline friends which have home bathroom availability or need an outside break. This 30 or 40 min visit is for the personal attention we want out pets to have during the day -- combing, play time-- checking on water and snacks, etc. Clean up is, of course, part of the job. The Dog Walk is suited for the canine friends that require exercise during the mid day time frame. This will include, as weather permits, 30 or 40 min outdoor walk in the local neighborhood. The dog paws and maybe fur will be cleaned/ brushed before returning home. We are responsible walkers and all waste are disposed of properly. That is part of the job

CANCELATIONS
No fee is charged if 48 hours notice is given prior to start of services. If notice is given less than 48 hours there will be a charge equal to 1 visit.
Due to the high demand for services during Holidays we require a 7day notice of cancellation for no fee to be charged. If there is a cancellation less than 7 days (for Holidays) there is a charge of 1 visit plus the Holiday surcharge ($25.00)
PAYMENT
First-time clients or clients with a history of late payment will be required to pay in advance before services are rendered.
Returning clients can either pay at start of services but no later than completion of a scheduled service period. Since final payment is required before return of keys this is usually done no later than the last visit.

KEY POLICY
Due to the nature of our business BOW-HOUSE Pet Care protects your keys, pets and possessions as though they are their own. All keys are secured and coded to eliminate connecting a key with a specific address. Upon signing a service agreement the client shall furnish BOW-HOUSE Pet Care prior to starting a complete set of working keys, fobs or security codes which BOW-HOUSE Pet Care has verified. This set shall be returned to client upon final payment for services unless client has notified BOW-HOUSE Pet Care that the set is to be retained for future services.
If final payment happens after completion of services the key set shall be returned within 7 days by certified mail ($13.00 charge). Personal delivery or pick-up by BOW-HOUSE Pet Care incurs a 1 visit charge plus holiday surcharge if this applies.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
BOW-HOUSE Pet Care is entrusted to use best judgment in caring for pet(s) and home. BOW-HOUSE Pet Care works in a small geographic area Alexandria, Arlington and Falls Church and will cancel dog walks an/ or visits if schools are closed in your area or the government closes/releases early,etc. Even when schools may remain open icy or dangerous conditions may delay a visit or may force BOW-HOUSE Pet Care to cancel a visit. If BOW-HOUSE Pet Care cancels a visit as mentioned above there will be no charge and the client shall be notified as quickly as possible. If a visit is canceled Bow-House is only responsible for the charge of the visit.
RETURNING FROM TRIP
BOW-HOUSE Pet Care is entrusted to use best judgment in caring for pet(s) and home. With this in mind we request prompt notification upon returning to your home Likewise any delay in returning which would compromise your pets welfare should generate a prompt phone call to BOW-HOUSE Pet Care to insure continued coverage.
